Youth Diplomatic Academy (YDA)-Terms & Conditions
1. Acceptance of Terms
By applying, making a payment, or attending any YDA program, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.
2. Program Participation
- YDA programs are designed for individuals interested in diplomacy, policy-making, foreign affairs etc.
- Submission of an application does not guarantee selection, and participation is confirmed only after approval and full payment.
- YDA reserves the authority to decline or revoke participation at any stage if deemed necessary to maintain the integrity of the program.
3. Registration & Applicant Responsibility
- All applications must be submitted through YDA’s official platforms. Applicants are responsible for ensuring that the information they provide is accurate and complete.
- YDA is not liable for any issues resulting from incorrect submissions, including delays, cancellations, or disqualification.
4. Financial Policy
- All program fees must be paid through officially provided payment methods. Any additional charges such as bank fees, currency exchange differences, or taxes are the responsibility of the participant.
- A seat in the program is secured only after full payment is successfully received (for self-funded delegates).
5. Refunds, Credits & Transfers
- Payments made to YDA are not refundable in cash under any circumstances.
- In certain cases, participants may request to transfer their participation to another YDA program or receive a credit for future use. Such requests are subject to timelines and conditions set by YDA.
- Credits, where issued, are valid for a limited period and can only be used for YDA programs. They cannot be converted into cash or transferred without prior approval.
6. Travel & External Requirements
- Participants are solely responsible for arranging travel documents, including visas, insurance, and compliance with the laws and regulations of the host country.
- YDA does not guarantee visa approvals and is not responsible for any travel-related issues, delays, or refusals.
7. Program Delivery & Changes
- YDA reserves the right to adjust event details, including schedules, speakers, venues, and formats, where necessary.
- In situations beyond YDA’s control, such as global disruptions or unforeseen circumstances, programs may be postponed, relocated, or transferred to future editions.
8. Conduct & Participation Standards
- Participants are expected to maintain professional and respectful behavior throughout the program.
- YDA reserves the right to remove any participant whose conduct is deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or harmful to others. No compensation will be provided in such cases.
- Participants are also responsible for their personal safety and belongings during the program.
9. Use of Content & Media
- All materials shared during YDA programs remain the intellectual property of YDA.
- Participants may not reproduce or distribute program content for commercial purposes without prior consent.
- By attending, participants grant YDA permission to use photographs, videos, or recordings for promotional and documentation purposes.
10. Communication & Data Use
- By registering, participants agree to receive important updates regarding their application and participation.
- Personal information is handled responsibly and used only for operational and program-related purposes in accordance with applicable data protection standards.
11. Third-Party Involvement
- YDA may engage third-party service providers such as venues, payment processors, and digital platforms.
- YDA is not responsible for the actions, policies, or service disruptions caused by these external providers.
12. Liability Limitations
YDA is not liable for indirect losses, damages, or unforeseen circumstances affecting participation.
13. Dispute Handling
Any concerns or disputes should first be addressed directly with YDA for resolution.
YDA reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time to reflect operational or legal changes.
